2831 Hartzell - Final Photos
This project was featured on HDTV’s Windy City Rehab.
We are finishing up the exterior and grading while we wait for cabinets. We have finally got the garage door installed.
We are preparing for another demolition & build. Here we are finishing the sewer & water disconnect.
Here are some photos over the past couple weeks with the trusses installed and then after the sheathing with the roofers beginning work.
The 2nd floor deck is on and we’re starting on the walls.
I should probably post an update for this project. Siding is mostly completed with just a few details needed to be finished on a return trip. One of those details is to paint that white louver the same color as the trim. The interior is just about ready for rough inspections.
We’re putting up the 1st floor walls. We should be at the 2nd floor deck by the end of the week.
The foundation was pored and set. The site was back-filled. Sewer and water have been hooked up to the mains. The excavator will come back to smooth out the site a bit. And next we'll be starting the carpenter on the 1st floor deck.
Here’s a few different angles of the site. By the way, those 2x12’s sticking up out of the foundation are there to support the walls during the back fill.
The exterior is looking good. We’re getting there, but we still need to do the final landscaping, paint the front door, and window cleaning. I’ll post an update on the interior after we’ve painted.
